Craft Fair part 1

Last week we had a Christmas craft fair in our local library. This was my first time taking part in a craft fair and I really enjoyed the experience. It was great meeting and getting to see the wonderful work of the extremely talented people who exhibited there. I just want to share some photos which will give you a taste of what was on offer at the fair. I took so many photos I’ll have to post them over a few days! If anyone wished to have their contact details included in the posts I’ve done that.

First up is Paddy O’Connor (Tel 085 1408941), a wood turner who had made so many amazing pieces. I wish I could have bought them all!

During the fair Paddy gave demonstrations on wood turning and it was fascinating to watch him produce wonderful pieces including...

... these adorable mushrooms.

Jenny Ogden from Craftspun Yarns (Tel 045 876881) had a gorgeous selection of knitted and crocheted pieces.

Love this hat. I really have to get beyond making a chain in crochet so I can make something like this!

Craftspun Yarns has a brilliant selection of yarns in stock and also runs many fun workshops.

Unfortunately, I only have a couple of photos of Michael Rowley's (Tel 087 7534986) gorgeous landscape paintings. I took quite a few photos of his paintings on the last day of the fair but a lot of them were very blurry.

I hope you enjoyed the first trip to the fair!
