Fabric and Flowers

The gorgeous new Hero Arts Large Flower Background stamp reminds me of some William Morris wallpapers and fabrics so I thought I’d use the stamp with some upholstery fabric.

Fabric and Flowers
Stamps (Hero Arts) - Large Flower Background & Everyday Sayings

I stamped the background on upholstery fabric using walnut stain distress ink. Then I embossed the background image in white on white card and cut out the pieces I wanted to use. Distress inks (worn lipstick, spun sugar & shabby shutters) were applied to the flowers\leaves using a paintbrush and some water. I embossed the sentiment and pulled some fibres from the upholstery fabric to attach the sentiment piece.

I’m submitting this card into the current Hero Arts Challenge as well as the
Around the House Challenge in the Moxie Fab World and the Cutting & Trimming Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.
