One of my favourite techniques is resist, so when I saw Lily Pad Cards' Resist Challenge, I just couldn't resist making a card.
Stamps (Hero Arts) - Exotic Bloom, Starburst Lace & Messages.
I used the sketch from the Square Sketch Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.
To start with I embossed the Exotic Bloom in white on white card and applied a few of my favourite distress inks - tumbled glass, broken china & faded jeans. The butterfly was punched out of a scrap left over from another project (vellum white embossed with Starburst Lace). I also used the resist technique on the sentiment and added a few gems to the card to finish.

Heather, Your circle with the exotic bloom is so beautifully shaded! Fabulous job on the resist technique! Love this gorgeous card!
Love the circle with the square format, Heather. And, that texture is so perfect with the softness of the blues. You rock, girlfriend.
Your card is absolutely adorable =P
Very beautiful card!
That is one GORGEOUS shade of blue - and so much more beautiful against the white. Thanks for the inspiration! =)
This is a real beauty Heather! I love that blue and how you have made the circular image!
Oh my, this is truly gorgeous, Heather! The combination of dry embossing and emboss resist along with the crisp blue and white color scheme is so amazingly beautiful...I love it! I'm so glad you joined us at Lily Pad Cards.
